About Independent Futures Group Bristol: The Independent Futures (IF) Group Bristol is a voice for people with complex needs. The group comprises some of Bristol’s expert citizen’s by experience.
We are a diverse group brought together to pool our front line experience with homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues and offending behaviour. Our aim is to scrutinise support services and work with them to carve a new way to deliver better services across in the Bristol area.
We are the main advisory group working with The Golden Key project in Bristol. The IF Group has contributed at all stages of the business planning, recruitment and launch of this Big Lottery funded project.
Who is the group for: IF represents service users and people with multiple / complex needs. We provide a voice of those with lived experience of service use across Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Homelessness and Criminal Justice System.
