Bristol Survivors’ Network

About Bristol Survivors’ Network: Bristol Survivors Network is a group of people who have lived experience of mental health difficulties. We gather information about what is going on in mental health services and campaign to improve things.

The group is run entirely by volunteers and we are independent of any funding. Membership is free and people can join through our website or by attending a meeting.

Who the group is for: People in the Greater Bristol area who have survived or experienced mental health difficulties.

What the group offers: As well as a monthly business meeting, we hold a social meeting once a month rotating round venues in Bristol and meeting for a few hours on different weekdays. We pay for a hot drink and can refund members bus fares with receipts.

Our social meetings are probably the best place to find out about our group and a chance to talk about concerns. We always respect confidentiality. We do not offer a counselling or crisis service. Recently we have produced a leaflet with information on crisis support.
